Humane Society International works around the globe to promote the human-animal bond, protect street animals, support farm animal welfare, stop wildlife abuse, eliminate painful animal testing, respond to natural disasters and confront cruelty to animals in all of its forms.

Nazareth House (Bahay Nazareth) is an ecumenical house of hospitality rooted in the spirit of the Catholic Worker Movement founded by Dorothy Day and Peter Maurin in 1933. We seek to embody the Gospel ideals of prayer, voluntary poverty and simplicity of life, and corporal and spiritual works of mercy, which include solidarity with the poor and the oppressed, non-violent peace and justice, radical hospitality, and life in community. Located in Manila, Philippines, our main apostolic ministry is to provide a home to persons living with HIV or AIDS who do not have adequate financial means for housing, and are unable to secure assistance from family or friends. We are LGBTQ friendly.

Polka Dogs Pet Rescue (https://polkadogz.org)

Polka Dogz Pet Rescue is a registered 501c3 company and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home dogs while educating the community on responsible pet ownership. At Polka Dogz we rely on our dedicated volunteers and donors to maintain the rescue and medical treatment of all our dogs. With your help, thousands of small dogs are saved each year. I found one of my dogs (Pepper) through Polka Dogz. They meticulously-screen potential adopters and volunteers to make sure that a suitable home is found for these angels.
